Maegan Philp

Hello! I am Maegan Philp and I am so excited to be back at Amisk school teaching grade one. Last year, I was away on maternity leave. My husband Nick and I welcomed our son Levi into the world in August last year.

I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Lethbridge and a Bachelor of Education Degree from Saint Mary’s University in Calgary. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, travel, read books, and explore the outdoors.

This will be my fourth-year teaching grade one. I love teaching grade one because children are so curious about the world around at this age. They make big leaps and bounds with emotional growth and academic growth in grade one.

I am looking forward to spending the year ahead with your little ones.
