Maegan Philp

Hello!

I am Maegan Philp and I will be teaching grade one at Amisk School! This will be my third-year teaching. I taught grade one my first year and kindergarten my second year. I am passionate about early childhood education because the little ones are so curious about the world around them. I am excited to be teaching grade one again!

I was born and raised in Calgary, AB. I live with my husband, our two dogs Apollo and Chevy, and our cat Sadie. I am excited to be a part of the Amisk community and am looking forward to getting to know the community as the year progresses. When I am not at school I love walking the trails around Hardisty, exploring new places, or I am reading a book.
