Stacey Jenkins

Hi, My name is Stacey Jenkins and I'm super excited to be joining the grade 2 class with Mrs Dewald as an Educational Assistant for the 2023-2024 school year. I have my Early Learning  and Childcare Diploma (level 2) with some Disability courses.

Little about me, I grew up on an acreage outside the Village of Lougheed and have always loved the rural area. I moved away for a few years, met my husband Gordie and convinced him to move back home. We now live 5 minutes from where I grew up on an acreage with our son Colton. When I'm not at school I enjoy being on the family acreage, camping, spending time with friends, watching a good Disney movie/Hallmark movie, traveling and doing crafts.

Two things I'm excited for this year are 1) Seeing the kids' smiling faces every time they achieve or accomplish new goals and knowing I was there to help! 2) If the First Day was any indication of how this year will go, with thoughtful, friendly, caring staff/kids and parents it will be a Great Year!!
